A Soft Place to Land.

This immersive, nature-based evening invites guests to slow down, connect with the land, and engage their senses through restorative, artful experiences. Upon arrival, each attendee will be greeted at the entrance with a personal guidebook and a goodie bag to support their exploration. With these in hand, guests will be transported into another realm—symbolized by the plumes of a dandelion flower—where each “petal” guides them toward moments of rest, reflection, and discovery, much like an intimate theme park for adults.

A Soft Place to Land was created to bring the solace of nature into spaces where it is often absent—a sanctuary for stillness, reflection, and renewal. Butterfly Mountain doesn’t just meet this vision; it elevates it. The Luna Dome’s dandelion-like form feels as though it was dreamt into existence for this event, mirroring our central symbol of release, transformation, and new beginnings. Surrounded by indigenous flora, the land itself becomes a collaborator—offering its beauty, wisdom, and grounding presence.

Here, participants can wander along guided nature walks, learning the stories of native plants and how to protect them for future generations. Outdoor decks will carry the vibrations of sound and dance rituals, infusing the air with harmony and collective joy. Every element of Butterfly Mountain supports our intention to create a space where people connect not only with each other but with the Earth herself—making the venue integral to the depth, impact, and lasting legacy of our event.

By weaving together visual wonder, embodied learning, emotional release, artistic reflection, and joyful integration, Butterfly Mountain will become more than a venue—it will be a living ecosystem of connection. Guests will leave not only inspired but equipped with tools, relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose to carry into their communities.

What to Expect…

  • Artistic Reflection – A Soft Place to Land

Inside the Luna Dome, Da’Shaunae will lead A Soft Place to Land, an intimate photographic experience inviting guests to pause, reflect on a single guiding question, and walk away with an instant photograph capturing a renewed version of themselves. This takeaway becomes both a personal keepsake and a symbolic reminder of their transformation.

  • Visual & Sensory Immersion – The Luna Dome as a Giant Dandelion

The Luna Dome will be transformed into a giant dandelion flower—our opening visual impact—instantly transporting guests into a whimsical realm and inviting them to embody their inner child. This playful yet symbolic transformation sets the tone for curiosity, openness, and possibility. Pathways lit by “stray plumes” (representing dandelion seeds) will guide guests through the event, reinforcing the idea of scattering new ideas and intentions into the world. Live music will weave throughout the space, helping to balance the energy—lightening moments that feel deep or heavy—so guests remain grounded yet inspired.

  • Land Connection & Ecological Literacy – Playful Learning that Lasts

Beyond the dome, our Land Sovereign, Precious Ivy, will guide guests through a Native Plant Scavenger “Fairy Hunt.” By blending playful exploration with hands-on knowledge about native plants and land care, participants experience a new way of learning that stays with them. This is not just a single exposure—it’s about showing them how to fish on their own, building confidence to continue these practices after the event and share them with others, fostering an enduring culture of ecological stewardship.

  • Emotional Opening & Renewal – The Power of Somatic Space

In the Gaia Dome, somatic healing practitioner Ev’Yan Whitney will guide guests through a Release & Renew ceremony, providing a safe and intentional environment to process emotions, release what no longer serves them, and open to receive. Safe spaces like this foster deeper communication, compassion, and authentic connection—potentially leading to lasting community bonds.

As a team, we are united by our commitment to creating spaces where art, ecological awareness, ancestral remembrance, and emotional healing intersect.
